The Chichibu distillery "Japan Warrior Series Number One" Cask #2369 is an incredibly rare release of only 265 bottles worldwide in an exquisite wooden gift box.
This highly-anticipated release was distilled in 2009 after which maturation occurred in a Sherry Puncheon until June 2013. From there, the whisky was transferred to a white wine barrel of a famous French wine estate (whose name is not able to be disclosed). After a further four years of maturation, the whisky was bottled in February 2017.
Floral and grassy, with notes of white wine, grapefruit, and young peaches on the palate, and a wonderful creamy mouthfeel.
Be one of only a handful to experience a Chichibu single cask release, which is a very rare commodity these days.
