Description

From the Iconic Speyside distillery Macallan, a 30 years old exclusively matured in handcrafted sherry oak casks from Jerez, Spain. 

This version was released between 2012 and 2018, where it featured the whisky tint numbers introduced by Whisky Maker at the time, Bob Dalgarno. This was to highlight the natural of Macallan, which was the 5th of the six pillars of The Macallan.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Bold notes of ripe figs. Zesty orange peel. Dark cherries interlaced with warm nutmeg. Hints of seasoned oak and delicate cinnamon.
Palate:Flavors of dried apricots with a prominent sherry influence. Accented by subtle dark chocolate. Smooth creamy malt undertones
Finish: Long and satisfying. Lingering spice with a touch of sweet oak. Final whisper of orange zest and toasted almonds
