Glenfarclas 24 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 2000 - Millenium Cask #12 (700ml/ 47.4%)

A rather lovely Glenfarclas single cask - the third release of the distillery's five-part Generation series started in 2021 to celebrate the traditions and innovation under the Grant family. Each release is presented in a clear crystal Glencairn decanter and glossy red case.

To mark the new millennium, the Grant Family and distillery staff chose a selection of the finest casks to fill on New Years' Eve and New Years' Day. Cask #12 was then chosen in 2000 by Director of Pol Roger Portfolio Peter Donnelly for this release - a 1st fill sherry butt bottled after 24 years in 2024 at 474% ABV and limited, as the others in this series have been, to 600 bottles.
